| Enjoy Delawana
on the Fall Canadian Thanksgiving long weekend getaway. The special
value package is our way of saying thanks to our many guests. Two
children stay free and all meals are included. Guests will experience
“Fall Colours”, usually at their peak during the Thanksgiving
weekend. The following itinerary includes exciting fall activities
for the kids, such as the making of taffy apples and a pumpkin carving
contest. Everyone can participate on the free guided hikes, and
colour cruises, in and around Georgian Bay Islands National Park.
Guests will enjoy our sumptuous fall Thanksgiving Buffet, and the
many classic dishes such as Roast Tom Turkey, Pumpkin Pie, and more.

The Delawana Inn Social Itinerary is designed to give you the most fantastic vacation ever!
Please take a few minutes each morning to read the day’s outline. There are tons of activities,
events, shows and tournaments scheduled during the weekend. We hope that you will get
involved either as a participant or as an observer.
Most of all relax and have fun!
We at the Delawana Inn want your stay with us to be as enjoyable as possible.

Sign-up sheets: Sign up for all activities, clinics and

during meals regarding daily activities, tournament

The vacation store “Up North Outfitters” is available
for all of your shopping needs. Open daily from 9:00am– 11:00pm.
Internet Access: We are happy to provide a highspeed
wireless “hot-spot” network for our guests.
Laptops with wireless network cards can access the
Internet from almost anywhere in our main building.
Our Internet Zone in the main lobby also has 4 on-line
computers, which are available to our guests 24/7.

The Boathouse Bar is open every night till 1:00am.

Nature Program: The Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre
will be on-site daily conducting a variety of natureoriented
programs for both families and children. You
don’t want to miss these exciting new activities! For

An adult must accompany children under 10.
For the Kids: Plenty of things to do! Our fully
supervised VIK Club, Teen Squad and Infant Day-
Care will keep them busy from 10:00am – 5:00pm
daily; refer to the Social Itinerary. For more information
or camp registration forms, inquire at the front desk.
Please note that our day-care attendance is
limited to a 3:1 ratio.
Babysitters are available at the front desk after
6:00pm and throughout the evening (until midnight) for
$10/hr. for the first 2 children. Each additional child is $1
extra per hour. Please let us know before 4:00pm if
you require babysitting services for the evening.
Royal Island: Across Honeymoon Channel
Looking for a nice relaxing hike? See the Waterfront
Staff at the docks and head on over to Royal Island.
Beginner, intermediate and advanced trails
accommodate just about everyone. See the remains of
the old Royal Hotel and other artifacts from days past.
Trail maps are available at the front desk. Don’t hesitate
to approach any of the Social Staff should you have any
additional questions.
Golf Academy & Delawana Pines Pro Shop Get a lesson, play a round or just hit a few buckets
under the direction of our golf pro Tim Ament.

Hey Kids!! If you look closely, you might catch a
glimpse of B.B. Loon on Saturday (12:00-5:00pm).
Weather permitting; the pool is open from 9:00am – 9:00pm for your enjoyment. Please take care, as this weekend the
pool and the beach are unsupervised.
The Delawana Inn Adventure Course is open from 9:00am - 5:00pm. Head on down to the North Beach area. Grant &
Rachel are just waiting to get you into a harness (waiver form required)!
