Monday, September 12, 2011 Spectacular colours and events fill fall schedule in MuskokaHoney Harbour, Ont., - Exploring Muskoka in the fall offers spectacular scenery and many fun-filled events for families to enjoy.
Fall fairs, the very backbone of rural Ontario, are plentiful in the region in the coming weeks.

The 151st edition of the Elmvale Fall Fair runs Thanksgiving Weekend, Oct. 6-8. Visitors can enjoy competitions in the cattle and horse rings, various award-winning exhibits, a midway and dog show. Entertainment, shows and dances round out the weekend.
Forty artists will display their work over four days for the Thanksgiving Images Studio Tour. The self-guided tour involves 25 studios throughout Simcoe County and you can meet sculptors, photographers and painters from Barrie, Horseshoe Valley through the shores of Lake Simcoe to Orillia.
