Deposit At Time of Booking
1. A Minimum deposit of $200 per person is required for resort room
accommodation. A minimum deposit of $2000 is required for weekly
house reservations or half the reservation amount up to $1000 for less
than a one-week stay.
2. A deposit received before February 15, 2009 will receive 5% off booking
price and another 5% off if payment is received in full before March 15,
2009. Bookings paid in full prior to December 15, 2008 receive a 15%
discount (minimum 5 night stay).
Payment Methods
Equal billing can be made over several months before your stay. Booking
price less deposit can be divided equally over the months remaining before
June 15, 2009. Payments can be drawn monthly from a credit card or post-
dated cheques. A 5% discount is applied to 5, 7 or 9 night packages with
this method if deposit is received before Feb. 15, 2009.
Final Bill Payment
1. Final bill must be paid at check out and paid only by cash, credit card,
traveller’s cheque or debit card.
2. Outstanding balances not paid on departure will be put through
on credit card, with a copy of the bill forwarded to you by mail.
Reservation Confirmation
1. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to make a reservation.
2. Reservations cannot be confirmed without credit card deposit or
receipt of deposit cheque.
3. Specific room requests are not guaranteed, only accommodation
category. Specific requests will be noted.
4. Confirmation will be sent with all reservation information.
5. Changes to confirmed reservations are subject to a $25.00
administrative fee.
Cancellation Policy
1. All cancellations are subject to a $50 processing fee.
2. Cancellations made within 60-90 days of arrival date will forfeit 25%
of their deposit.
3. Cancellations made within 30-60 days of arrival date will forfeit 50%
of their deposit.
4. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival date will forfeit the
full deposit.
5. No credits or adjustments are made for late arrivals, early departures
or missed meals. Full payment on your original booking will be
required at check out.
Check In and Out
Check In: Check In begins at 4:00pm.
Check Out: Check Out ends at 11:00am.
A credit card must be presented at check-in.
Summer Single Supplement: Single Supplement charges of 25% will be
applied to the posted adult rates for accommodations in the Spruces
and Ashes or stay in the Beeches with no single supplement charge..
Spring & Fall Single Supplement: All accommodations are available
with a 25% single supplement.
Additional Adults: Additional adults sharing a double occupancy room
are charged $95.00 per person per night including package inclusions.
Tax and Service Charges: Package rates are subject to applicable taxes
and service charge. All rates are quoted in Canadian dollars.
Leisure Service Charge: A 12% service charge is added to your package
rate. The service charge is shared by employees in the form of bonuses
and wages.
Group Service Charge: A 15% service charge is added to your package
rate. The service charge is shared by employees in the form of bonuses
and wages.
Tipping: Should you wish to reward staff for outstanding service please
do so at your discretion.
Use of Facilities & Weather: Delawana shall not be liable for
non-utilization of package components or loss of recreational
opportunities due to weather, power failure or any other circumstances
beyond our control.
Dress Code: Sportswear or casual dress is fine throughout the day. "Dress Casual" is preferred in the dining room. Definitely no cut off
shorts/shirts, tank tops, swimsuits, hats, muscle shirts, etc.
Visitor Day Passes: Day visitors must purchase a day pass to use the
resort facilities. $25 plus service charge and applicable taxes.
Docking: Docking fee is included with overnight accommodations.
Pets: Regretfully but firmly, no pets are allowed. Kennels are located in
the Midland area.
Smoking: All of our accommodations are non smoking and due to fire
regulations no cooking equipment is permitted in our room
accommodations. A $200 extra cleaning charge will be applied to guests
folios if the accommodation has been smoked in. Thank you for your
understanding, cooperation and compliance concerning this matter.
