Ontario Family Fishing Weekend at the Delawana Inn Spa & Conference Resort

Honey Harbour, Georgian Bay, Ontario. January 12, 2005………. Delawana Family Fishing Weekend, begins at noon Friday, July 8th, throughout the weekend until Sunday, July 10th and coincides with Ontario's free fishing weekend and National Fishing Week July 3-July 10, 2005.

Delawana Guests will have the opportunity for fishing for a variety of species. Prizes will be awarded to children in a number of categories.

Kids love to fish off the Delawana docks and shoreline! The Georgian Bay area is well known for the great variety of species and many world trophies. Bass, Pickerel, Northern Pike, Crappie, and Perch are common. The "Big Ones" Sturgeon, Musky and Salmon are less common but can be caught with a little bit of luck.
