Tourism Partnership Builds Visitor Traffic to Georgian Bay Georgian Bay, Ontario March 17. The Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre from Midland, Ontario, will be partnering with the Delawana Inn Spa & Conference Resort from Honey Harbour, at the Toronto Sportsman Show from Thursday March 18 through until Sunday March 21. Naturalist Kristana Quinlan will be showing and talking about reptiles and their habitat in the Georgian Bay Area. Quinlan, an experienced Wye Marsh naturalist, is also one of the facilitators at Delawana Resort during the summer where she acts as an interpreter and guide for many of the outdoor children's and family nature programs. Jeff Cowan, Operations Manager at the Delawana says, "The
Wye Marsh nature programs are very popular family activities. The
Sportsman Show visitors get a glimpse of the interactive programs
that take place during the summer." Laurie Schutt, Manager of the Centre says, "This is an excellent opportunity for us to get our educational messages and image out in front of the public. We have an excellent relationship with the Delawana Inn Spa & Conference Resort-a good private sector, and not-for-profit partnership."
