It's hard to imagine a more ideal setting for summer theatre than
the picturesque King's Wharf Theatre. Located on the shores of Georgian
Bay in Penetanguishene, the theatre is only a 35 minute drive from
Honey Harbour and the Delawana
Inn.
Nestled within Discovery Harbour, the 385-seat theatre is flanked
by majestic tall ships and historic buildings - a fascinating step
back into the history of a 19th-century British naval and military
base. This unique, rustic theatre is air-conditioned and wheelchair
accessible.
NEW Star Parties and Star
Gazing
Several of the guests who stayed at the Delawana this past year
suggested ways that we might improve our evening activities. As
a result Delawana is delighted to introduce Brian Cheaney, Member
of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada Toronto. Brian
will be with us each Wednesday starting July 9 through the remainder
of the summer until August 27 telling and showing the Secrets of
the evening sky. Brian has traveled around the world to view solar
eclipses, the northern lights, and many other wonders of the night.
