The Delawana Inn Spa & Conference Resort and the Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre are pleased to announce a newly formed partnership to establish an extensive fun oriented nature education and environmental program for families visiting the Delawana Inn this year The programs are offered as part of the Social and Recreation Programming starting, June 26th through to September 2nd inclusive, and are available at no additional charge to the guests staying at the Delawana Inn. Experienced naturalists will be on-site at the Delawana six days a week with a series of 22 different two hour programs that will not only inspire, but educate and entertain the entire family at no additional cost. A variety of programs such as Wet and Scaly, Nature at Night, Forest Wonders, Orienteering, as well as an Adult Evening Kayak will highlight the family vacation. The Wye Marsh is a significant National Wildlife area in nearby Midland, Ontario. The centre has developed an international reputation with the re-introduction of the Trumpeter Swan, the largest waterfowl and once endangered. Now over 50 Swans call the Wye Marsh home, with another 104 Swans nesting throughout the Southern Georgian Bay area in the Summer. Children at the Delawana also receive a free pass to visit the centre The Delawana Inn has a whole range of adventure, nature and sports programs for adults and children. You can spend your time, playing goofy golf or embarking on a self- guided hike or bike tour of Beausoliel Island, the largest Island in Georgian Bay Islands National Park. Georgian Bay Islands National Park has classic Georgian Bay vistas, ancient forests and the largest variety of reptiles and amphibians of any national park in Canada. With the new Wye Marsh partnership Delawana Inn's guests can experience and enjoy all that Georgian Bay has to offer. The Delawana Monster Climbing Wall is one of most popular challenges.
