Ontario's Delawana Inn Spa & Conference Resort Earns 5 STAR-PLUS Rating

The Delawana Inn Spa & Conference Resort recently received the highest designation
of a 5 Star under the Hotel Fun 4 Kids Rating Program. The web-based
company, now in its 6th year, rates hotels and resorts according
to the level of services offered for children. The 5 Star awards
is only given to hotels and resort properties that have demonstrated
outstanding children's programs,
activities and facilities.
Delawana has demonstrated continuous improvement with the expansion
of the supervised children's programs, natural history family activities,
and new children's play area. Family
evening entertainment through the summer.
Hotels and Resorts that receive a 5 star rating are thoroughly
evaluated by Maureen Hall, President, Hotel Fun 4 Kids, as to the
level of services and facilities offered through site visits and
personal evaluation.
Hall says, "It requires a real commitment to kids on the part
of a Hotel or Resort to receive a 5 Star rating, the top rating
under the Hotel Fun 4 Kids Program. Not only has Delawana Inn met
all of the criteria but in many cases has surpassed the traditional
rating requirements with its facilities including the Resort's proximity
to so many outdoor nature activities and an enthusiastic recreation
director that has put together a great schedule of activities for
children and families at Delawana".
Delawana has partnered with several of the nearby natural attractions
in the Southern Georgian Bay Area, including the Georgian Bay Islands
National Park, Wye Marsh Wildlife Area, and Sainte-Marie Among the
Hurons to enhance the experiences of every guest at the Resort.
Children at the Delawana receive a check-in goody bag including
their very own personal VIK KIDS CLUB
(Very Important Kids) Card. As well, there are free banana boat
rides, and free admissions to local attractions.
