Grandparent—Travel Package with Grand kids at Ontario’s Delawana Inn Spa & Conference Resort

Delawana Inn Spa & Conference Resort is introducing two special weeks for grandparents and grand children…two grand children 18 or under stay and eat free, and the grandparents receive a $25 spa credit. A minimum 4-night stay is required and the rates start at $695 per adult including breakfast and dinner daily, evening entertainment, pontoon cruises, and most non-motorized recreations facilities. The special weeks are available from June 26-July 1, and August 28-September 2, 2005. Tax and service charge extra.The kids can participate in a variety of daily activities complete with evening family entertainment. Children are kept busy throughout the day when they participate in the social programs, and grandparents have time to relax at their own pace.

The idea of grandparents traveling with grandchildren ("grand--travel") provides meaningful links between generations. The grandparent(s) get to enjoy the kids, perhaps in a way not possible in the hectic days when they were raising their own children.
