Subject: Thank You for the prize package.

Dear Very Friendly People at Lick's Homeburgers, Delawana Inn Spa & Conference Resort and Budget,

A few months ago I entered into a contest at Lick's Homeburgers and Ice Cream. At best I imagined I could win a free delicious lunch or dinner. Shortly after I received a message on my machine from Elisha at Lick's. Curious, I promptly returned her call to discover that I had won the 'Grand Prize'!

The 'Grand Prize' was a 5 day stay, (breakfast, dinner, accommodation and entertainment included), for two adults and two children to the Delawana Inn Spa & Conference Resort in Honey Harbour, as well as two half days at the Spa, located in the Del. I also received a rental car for 7 days from Budget. To top it off, my family received a free lunch when we picked up the prize package from the restaurant that originally submitted our entry form, in Brampton, just off of Queen Street.

I checked out the Del on the internet and was very surprised and pleased by the large variety of activities available for both adults and children. Both of my girls, ages 8 and 2, had a wonderful time as I myself had! They loved all of the staff and the kid's camp at the Del and were sorry to have to leave in the end.

I particular, I would like to mention some dining-room staff that made my stay so much more pleasant. They were Kate, Justina, and Joselyn.

These ladies went above and beyond their duty with my family. My husband was not able to attend the Del with us and I needed help when it came to the wonderful buffet that was presented at both breakfast and dinner.

My 2-year-old is quite rambunctious to say the least and the above mentioned ladies would help me greatly. I cannot even count the times they came to my rescue and either watched over my girls while I went to the buffet or grab my 2-year-old after she would say "I'm done" and bolt from the table. They also took a genuine interest in the activities my 8-year-old was doing and encouraged us to go to the nightly entertainment that was available every night.

I cannot say enough about the absolutely wonderful time my family had at the Del. It was so great that we are planning to make it a yearly tradition. It is very family oriented resort where we felt right at home. Although we did not know anyone else on arrival, we quickly made friends with the other guests. The super friendly staff helps everyone have a vacation that will not be easily forgotten.

To be honest, I had never heard of the Del prior to my winning this vacation package. My friends kept telling me that there must be some sort of catch. I have to tell you that there was absolutely no catch at all! Upon checking in at the Del, they accepted my gift certificate and my balance owing was $0.00.

I would just like to take this opportunity to say a great big "Thank You" to all of the wonderful people at Lick's for the prize package we received. Another "Thank you" to the amazing people at the Delawana Inn Spa & Conference Resort and last but not at all least, "Thank You" to Budget for the use of the 2005 Ford Escape XLT.
