Matthew Campbell began playing music in his early teens in his hometown of Oakville, Ontario.
His roots exist in both Musical Theatre as well as the Folk/Rock music scene. He attended Sheridan College graduating in 2002 from the Musical Theatre Performance Program. In his involvement with theatre he has been fortunate to work with The Charlottetown Festival, The Sunshine festival, The Mirvishes, Drayton Entertainment, and Stage West Mississauga and Calgary, as a singer, actor, instrumentalist, and music director. He has played extensively throughout the Toronto music scene as a guitarist, piano bar player, session musician, and singer, since moving to the city in 2002. His style is a mix of many influences in folk, country, roots rock and blues, led by his strong vocal presence and harmonic work. His original music is honest, and distinctly Canadian in feel and roots.
Matthew provides piano entertainment in the Royal Dining Room from 5:30 - 8:30pm Monday - Saturday. Show tunes, Disney music and popular songs for the whole family will keep you entertained throughout your Delawana dinners. But the show doesn’t stop there...
On Fridays & Saturdays in the Boathouse Bar (9:00 - 11:00pm), Matthew expands his repertoire of fine music with not only his great piano and vocals, but with the help of his guitar as well. Get ready to sing the night away to some familiar tunes! Billy Joel, Elton John and Michael Buble are just a few artists you will hear the likes of. Requests welcome! A wonderful way to relax into the night.
