The Delawana is a seasonal family resort and conference center just 45 minutes from Barrie on the Southeast shores of beautiful Georgian Bay. The Delawana has been in operation hidden in Honey Harbour among the 30 000 islands since 1897. With 113 rooms, 3 cottages and 7 houses our 140 staff mostly made up of students show up to over 400 guests what hospitality and service are all about. The Delawana Inn offers many opportunities for young energetic individuals from management to entry-level positions looking for a job away from the big city. Most of our employees are students or young adults looking for a great opportunity to learn about the resort and hospitality industries while going to school or taking a break from school. Shared accommodation and meals are available for $69.40 per week for those requiring them.* Most positions available will start in mid June and finish on Labour Day Monday. Some positions are available from mid May to Thanksgiving. Very few positions are available from May to Labour Day.

All of our summer jobs require that employees work until Labour Day or later.

We start collecting resumes in January. The interviews begin in February and most summer positions are filled by the beginning of April.
